2012 – Branden Barbone

Branden Barbone, our BB, was diagnosed with pre B cell lymphoblastic lymphoma at DuPont hospital in March of 2012, at the age of 6.He didn’t understand but his Dad and I were crushed with silence, fear, and questions all at once. As it all came out in tears we began our journey with childhood cancer. Taking one day at a time has taken on new meaning for our family as BB endured chemotherapy. Branden had one lump that led to over 10 surgeries, over 20 hospital stays, and two years of chemotherapy.

Currently, Branden is a year and a half off treatment, which we could not be more elated about. BB is busier than every just being an average kid. He loves going horseback riding, playing video games, and drumming. Aside from that Branden enjoys spending time with friends and family, and getting dirty outdoors.
